I spent a glorious Saturday in The Museum of Modern Art all by myself (1,000s of strangers don’t count). I paid the $20 admission (worth it) and $20 for lunch (quite tasty and the double latte was killer) and the people watching was priceless. I saw a fabulous photography exhibit which was very inspiring. I took my new plastic camera, the Diana F+ to put through her paces. Things looked good when I remembered to remove the lens cap.

I even saw Al Roker in MoMA (you know, the weather man from the Today Show). Surprised I even saw him with all the art, but I spotted him while I was swinging up the elevator. That was my big star sighting for the day.

I have seen this statue in Paris, Belgium and again in NY. I have days like those, don’t we all? I kept hearing “Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” in my head while taking this photograph.
